Bikes, Opening Round Of British Historic Racing At Mallory Park

The Vintage Motor Cycle Club's track based British Historic Motorcycle Racing comes to Mallory Park this Sunday April 15th and promises to deliver some of the best sounds, smells and sights of yesteryear for fans of classic bike racing.
The hotly anticipated opening round will feature bikes of all shapes, sizes and years from pre 1934 solos, outfits & 3 Wheelers, through to the exciting new BEARS series. Being introduced for 2012 The Classic Racer Magazine BEARS Championship (British, European, American Racing & Supporters) caters for an exciting range of European & American machines from the 1970s & 80s.
The six round Championship runs between April and September and there is a host of race categories that will be taking to the track - details below:

3a The Palletforce Pre 1963 251-350cc solo's Championship

4a The Royal Enfield (UK) Pre 1963 351-500cc solo's Championship
4b Bob Newby Racing 1963 to 1972 351-500cc solo's Championship
5a The Old Bike Mart 1949 to 1962 over 500cc solo's Championship
5b The Morris Lubricants 1963 to 1972 over 500cc solo's Championship
6a Formula BSA Bantams Championship
6b The Lacey Ducati Ducati single cylinder to 1972 Championship
7 Classic Racer Magazine BEARS F1 & F2 Championship
8 The Watsonian-Squire Sidecar outfits to 1958 Championship
9 Sidecar base 3 wheelers up to 750cc to 1972 Championship
10 B3 Cyclecars & Morgans unlimited to 1972 Championship
11a & 11b BSSO Scooters Championship
15 The PJB Clocks Vintage member solo novice Championship
British Historic Racing will also be holding ACU PR5 & PR6 Parades at Mallory Park. PR5 Spectator Parades give the opportunity to ride your road bike on the circuits having complied with the rules governing these parades.

Tickets cost £15 on the gate with under 14s going free with a paying adult.
