Round 2: McGrady Insurance Bishopscourt Stages Rally - 14th March
Saturday’s McGrady Insurance Stages Rally, the second round of the MSA Northern Ireland Rally Championship, boasted a 95-car entry that enjoyed fine weather at the former RAF airfield of Bishopscourt.
Reigning champion Derrek McGarrity scored six scratch times en route to victory aboard his Subaru Impreza, more than a minute ahead of George Robinson and young charger Stuart Biggerstaff.
Meanwhile Drew Stewart secured the spoils in the two-wheel-drive category with ninth place overall, ahead of the husband and wife team of James and Heather Kennedy.
