2007 standings definitively confirmed
21/12/07 - Sporting appeals
The overall standings of the 2007 World Series Formula Renault 3.5 had been subject to an appeal lodged with the FPAK by Miguel Molina (Pons Racing) after the Estoril meeting. The tribunal has now decided to reject Miguel Molina's appeal and has in fact handed him a penalty (he will be moved back ten places on the start grid of his next race) and a fine of €5,000.
The overall standings of the 2007 Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 had also been subject to an appeal lodged with the FIA by Prema Powerteam (on behalf of their driver Henki Waldschmidt) subsequent to the judgement pronounced by the Royal Automobile Club of Belgium's (RACB) appeal tribunal concerning the Zolder meeting. The appeal tribunal has confirmed the decision of the RACB.
All the standings are therefore definitively confirmed and remain unchanged.
