Round 5: Presidents TrophySunday 24th March 2013

Ian Bell, aided by his passenger Russell Sharp, won the Presidents Trial held near Petersfield to extend his championship lead over Tom Bricknell by four points.

Competition was close on the slippery course, with Bricknell tying with his step-father Roger for the lead at the midday point just ahead of Bell and Josh Veale. A near-perfect final round saw Bell take victory.

Steve Courts, who had been lying seventh at lunchtime, finished a single point adrift in third place. Yet again Veale tied with Courts, losing out on the tie-break but beating his father, Ian, by a single point.
