Morris Lubricants The New Sponsor for Rally North Wales

Morris Lubricants is the new title sponsor for the first round of the Motor Sports Association (MSA) British Rally Championship.

The Welshpool-based rally, organised by Wolverhampton & South Staffordshire Car Club Ltd, will now be known as the Morris Lubricants Rally North Wales.

This new relationship follows closely on the announcement of Morris Lubricants partnership with Welshman Tom Cave (age 21) from Aberdovey, who will contest this year's MSA British Rally Championship at the wheel of a Citroen DS3 in the blue and yellow livery of the Shrewsbury-based oil blender.

"All the organising team are absolutely thrilled that Morris Lubricants have decided to become title sponsors for Rally North Wales and we look forward to a very strong and productive relationship", said Kevin Witton, Event Manager.

Speaking on behalf of Morris Lubricants, Jan Trocki, General Manager - Marketing & Technology, said: "Morris Lubricants is delighted to support such a prestigious event in the UK motorsport calendar. At Morris, we can lubricate pretty much everything, but motorsport is an area where we support performance enthusiasts and professional competitors to pursue their passion."

The Morris Lubricants Rally North Wales has categories for historic, national and international specification rally cars and qualifies for five national rally championships, the first of which will start from Welshpool Town centre at 11.30am on Saturday 6 April.

On Sunday 7th, contenders in the MSA British and British Historic Championships will restart for two further special stages, before a Ceremonial Finish in Church Street car park at 11.30am.
