2013 FIRESTONE INDY LIGHTS SEASON CONTINUES AT BARBER***The 2013 IZOD IndyCar Series season continues with the Honda Indy Grand Prix Alabama on April 7 at Barber Motorsports Park. The race will be televised live at 3 p.m. (ET) by the NBC Sports Network (Verizon FiOS 90/590, DirecTV 220, DISH 159 and AT&T UVerse 640) and broadcast by the IMS Radio Network, including on Sirius and XM Channels 211 and www.indycar.com. The next Firestone Indy Lights race is the Legacy Indy Lights 100 on April 7 at Barber Motorsport Park. The race will be broadcast by NBC Sports Network at 1 p.m. (ET) on April 7, immediately preceding the IZOD IndyCar Series race broadcast.

 2013 season continues at Barber Motorsports ParkFirestone Indy Lights continues its 2013 season at Barber Motorsports Park with the Legacy Indy Lights 100. The challenging course has played host to Firestone Indy Lights testing in 2009, but didn't host its first race until the following year with eventual 2010 series champion J.K. Vernay claiming the race victory. Victor Garcia claimed the 2011 race for Team Moore Racing and Sebastian Saavedra won in 2012 for Andretti Autosport. Who will stake his claim for the win in 2013?Repeat for Schmidt Peterson Motorsports?Schmidt Peterson Motorsports returns to defend its 2012 drivers championship with a stout three-car lineup featuring star prospects of the Mazda Road to Indy. Jack Hawksworth, the 2012 Star Mazda Champion, scored his first win at St. Petersburg with Sage Karam finishing on the podium. Gabby Chaves, who led the first nine laps at St. Petersburg, rounds out the Schmidt Peterson Motorsports lineup.
