Giuseppe Cipriani to miss Mugello AutoGP

Next weekend Auto GP will head for Scarperia, the location that hosts one of Italy's finest racetracks, the Mugello circuit. As they did in each and every championship round so far, Ibiza Racing Team will be lining-up two cars: one will be driven by Italian youngster Sergio Campana, who's still fighting for the drivers' title, while Giuseppe Cipriani won't be able to take the wheel of the second car. The Italian entrepreneur is still recovering from the backache that already forced him to miss the Silverstone round, and the team is evaluating a bunch of different names to select the second driver that will be defending Ibiza's banner in Mugello.

Modesto Benegiamo:"We're really sorry that Giuseppe won't manage to drive in his home round, but he's still recovering from those back issues and Mugello is too much of a challenge to tackle it in less than perfect conditions. We hope that he will be back to full duty in August, for the German round. Our second driver for this weekend's races will be communicated soon".
