MSA British Sporting Trials Championship

Round 1: Geoff Taylor (Hagley DLCC), 16 February

John and Maxine Fack kicked off the championship with victory on the Geoff Taylor trial amid glorious sunshine at a brand new trials site.

Second place went to the Hamilton of Ian Bell and Russell Sharp, with David Rance and his daughter Katie completing the podium in their Crosslé after beating Duncan Stephens and Jordan Fack on a tie-break. Four of the first seven finishers were former British champions.

Peter McKinney and Zoe Chilton won the Intermediate Class in a fine fifth overall from former Formula 1 driver Richard Robarts and passenger John Fox in the RB7. John and Anne Cole (MJH3) were delighted to win the Novice Class by a single point from Richard and Joe Sharp (Cartwright).
