Motorcycling superstar Jorge Lorenzo has agreed a personal endorsement deal with Alfa Romeo.

Spain's two-time MotoGP world champion will appear in a range of international promotional campaigns for the Italian car brand throughout 2014, and will wear the Alfa Romeo logo on his race suit and helmet while competing.

In addition, he will drive the Alfa Romeo 4C supercar - the official safety car of the SBK Superbike World Championship - on selected circuits during the 2014 season.

Lorenzo, 26, will begin his attempts to reclaim the MotoGP world title with Yamaha in Qatar on Sunday.
