Richardson Racing will take its place in Britain's most exciting new single-seater series in 2015 after being confirmed as one of the teams to secure an entry into the MSA Formula series.The championship, officially titled MSA Formula: Certified by FIA, Powered by Ford EcoBoost, received unprecedented interest from teams after being unveiled earlier this season, with the Grantham-based outfit being granted a two-car entry for next year.It will see Richardson Racing go head-to-head with teams that have competed in both GP2 and the Renault World Series as it seeks to build on the progress it has made in recent years; with its focus firmly on launching a bid for championship glory in what is set to become Britain's premier single-seater series.After securing multiple championship titles in GT competition, the Richardson Racing team moved into single-seaters at the start of 2013; going on to enjoy two successful years in the Dunlop MSA Formula Ford Championship of Great Britain (pictured below), the series that will now be replaced by MSA Formula next year.Having taken multiple podium finishes, and having established itself as a regular front-running single-seater squad, Richardson Racing is now in talks with drivers who are eager to compete with the team next season; with a testing programme set to begin before the end of the year."We’re delighted to have secured our place on the grid for the first season of MSA Formula in 2015," team principal Gwyn Richardson said.
