First shown at Frankfurt in 1959, Porsche’s 356 B featured the updated T-5 body design and a host of deceptively subtle refinements, making the great 356 models even better than before. Offered with the standard 1,600cc engine, or the improved 75 hp Super engine, the 356 B delivered brisk performance and drivability, plus welcome ease of maintenance. An important model in Porsche history, the 356 B remains immensely collectible and highly satisfying to drive, even by the jaded standards of today.

This 356 B Super Coupe was exceptionally equipped with 16 factory-original options, as stated on its Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, and is a very rare sunroof car. Assembly was completed in October 1960, and both comfort and convenience were heightened with armrests at each door, a dimmable rearview mirror, a driver’s side-view mirror, an electric clock, a Blaupunkt Koln radio with antenna and dual loudspeakers, Coco floor mats, and headrests.

External enhancements included an original chrome-plated luggage rack and body-trim strips, while handling was sharpened with a compensator spring. A sound example prior to being given a restoration that was completed in 2013, this 356 B was refinished in its factory-specified and highly distinctive Heron Grey paint, nicely complemented by new blue upholstery. Fully detailed and very nicely presented throughout, it is most ready to collect, enjoy, and show.
