at 12 Hours of Sebring HSR Support RacesDominique LeQueux Shares Podium with First-Time Series Winners Vern Chevalier and Jeffrey FreemanThree different winners emerged Thursday in the debut of The Stuttgart Cup and Mission Foods GT3 Cup Trophy USA by Car Amigo in the 12 Hours of Sebring Support Races at Sebring International Raceway.Dominique LeQueux, who scored his first Stuttgart Cup victory one race ago in The Palm Beach Grand Prix, earned another Florida victory Thursday in his MOMO-themed No. 30 Cayman S prepared by Goldcrest Motorsports. “I loved everything about the race,” LeQueux said. “The weather is good, so many cars and people, so fun. Also, I have the best team in the world at Goldcrest. They make my car the main thing and that makes me just second. They do a great job.”LeQueux battled with the No. 22 Bodymotion Cayman S of Rick Stavola for the entirety of the twilight sprint, and he joined LeQueux in leading the race. The duo was never more than a car length apart with Stavola taking second alongside but just a half car length behind LeQueux. “The race was great, my only challenge was Dominique,” Stavola said. “I would have liked first place of course, but I am having a great time, maybe having too much fun!”Two-time and reigning Stuttgart Cup Champion, Bill Riddell, finished third to complete The Stuttgart Cup™ podium.“My favorite part of the race was the beginning, the middle and the end,” Riddell said. “A lot of fun in the beginning, I was chasing my buddy Rick and just couldn’t catch him, and Dominique took off like a lighting flash. It was just fun, and it’s always great to see other guys having a great time and get out there with a smile on their face, because that is really what it is all about.” Thursday’s other winners included debuting driver Vern Chevalier who took Stuttgart Cup honors in the larger displacement 3.8-liter class in his No. 24 Bodymotion Cayman S.Longtime Porsche competitor, Jeffrey Freeman, also scored his first victory in his No. 19 Porsche GT3 in the Mission Foods GT3 class.“This is our first event with HSR and the Stuttgart Cup and Mission GT3 guys here at Sebring, and the only reason we did it is that they are all great people,” Freeman said. “Here at Sebring, they are all great people and they put on a great race. I have been to Sebring with different racing organizations. A month ago I was here with PCA, but to be here for the 12 hour is just awesome. There is a sea of motorhomes and spectators.”Thursday’s post-race awards ceremony included the first presentation of the new Palm Beach Driving Club (PBDC) Award, which was presented to Stavola for his runner-up placing. The PBDC Award provides a free on-track session during a scheduled track day at Palm Beach International Raceway.
