Continue This Weekend at SVRA Miami Historics Homestead-Miami Speedway Debut Features Competitive Stuttgart Cup and Mission Foods GT3 Cup FieldsThe Stuttgart Cup and Mission Foods GT3 Cup Trophy USA by Car Amigo will make its debut with the Sportscar Vintage Racing Association (SVRA) at this weekend’s Miami Historics at Homestead-Miami Speedway, April 9 – 12.Round 3 of the 2015 schedule, the Stuttgart Cup and Mission Foods GT3 series will compete in their own run group over the full weekend of competition that features two hours of racing.The event schedule includes sprint races on Friday and Saturday and a featured Enduro on Sunday. The races will be preceded by four Thursday practices, a pair of practice/qualifying sessions on Friday before the opening race, and a final practice and qualifying run on Saturday. A morning warm-up will also set the stage for Sunday’s Enduro.The Stuttgart Cup™ entry list for the Miami Historics is highlighted by three drivers that have combined to sweep all of the race wins in the year’s opening event weekends at the Palm Beach Grand Prix in February, and last month in the HSR Support Races at the 12 Hours of Sebring.Dominique LeQueux has scored at least one race victory at both Sebring and Palm Beach – where he won both sprints – in his Goldcrest Motorsports No. 30 Cayman S. The bright red Porsche carries the livery of the classic MOMO Porsche 935s and 962s raced by Gianpiero Moretti for years in IMSA GTX and GTP competition.LeQueux won the first of two sprints on Thursday at Sebring but gave way to two-time and reigning Stuttgart Cup Champion Bill Riddell, who won his first race of the year, in the final sprint of the Sebring weekend on Friday. Riddell comes to Homestead with the same flat-black and white-striped No. 05 Cayman S, featuring a livery inspired by the Porsche 918 race car, that he drove to victory at Sebring and the last two Stuttgart Cup titles.Rick Stavola joins Riddell and LeQueux as 2015 Stuttgart Cup race winners after a solo drive to the Enduro victory at Palm Beach. Stavola drives his Bodymotion No. 22 Cayman S that will be maintained this weekend by Racelink.On the Mission Foods GT3 Cup front, the Homestead weekend will likely come down to a battle between three proven race winners.Juan Lopez-Santini won several races and finished a close second in the 2014 Mission Foods GT3 championship and will launch a bid for this year’s title starting at Homestead. He races his No. 810 Porsche GT3 Cup out of South Florida’s 901 Shop.Mark Greenberg swept all three GT3 races in the season-opening Palm Beach Grand Prix in February in his No. 77 Porsche GT3 Cup. He will be looking for a similar result at Homestead in his GT3 that is prepared by Orbit Racing.Familiar Stuttgart Cup and all around race-winning Cayman competitor Mark Sandridge will make his Mission Foods GT3 debut at Homestead at the wheel of his new No. 25 Porsche GT3 Cup. Sandridge will share the white Porsche with longtime professional coach and co-driver Joe Varde.Other drivers entered in the Miami Historics to watch include Adam Yunis and Ed Lane.Yunis shared victory lane with Greenberg in one of the Palm Beach races and will try to move to the top spot of the podium with his first series win at Homestead this weekend. Yunis races a white No. 41 Porsche GT3 Cup.Lane, another experienced Cayman competitor, will make his Stuttgart Cup debut at Homestead at the wheel of the popular blue and white No. 14 Cayman S modeled after the famous Al Holbert Racing Lowenbrau Porsche 962s. Lane recently purchased the car from fellow Stuttgart Cup competitor Joe Sullivan and now has the No. 14 is now prepared and maintained by 901 Shop.Noteworthy- Bob Woodman Tires, a supplier of The Stuttgart Cup™ and Mission Foods GT3 series standard Pirelli P Zero racing tires, is offering new series competitors discounted race entry fees at Homestead and the following events at Road America and Mid-Ohio.
