As the halfway point of the 2015 East Coast Bullbars Australian V8 Ute Racing Series get closer,  teams are ready to hit the streets of Townsville for Round 4 at the Castrol EDGE Townsville 400, 10 – 12th JulyGraham “The Local Lad” Edwards will join the line-up, steering Jordan Skinners Ford. (Skinner will be forced to miss this round, due to recording commitments in London to pursue his singer/song writing career).This will be Graham’s fifth appearance as a guest Ute driver at his local track having raced in 2010, 2011, 2013 and 2014. He will once again race for a chance to claim a top 10 finish after last year’s 14th place finish overall at his local track.“Racing in front of my home crowd when you’ve got a thousand people that know you, all cheering for you is one of the most enjoyable parts of racing on the Townsville street circuit. I have a really good car, I’m a lot more confident with the track, I’ve been studying it a lot more and have raced their four times now, I think I’ve got a good chance of making at least the top 15 easy,” said Edwards.2014 Champion Kris Walton claimed the round last year, although he is currently sitting fourth in the Championship and yet to land a podium or race win in the last two rounds, he’s looking for a good result in his home state.“We are keeping everything the same, just trying to figure out what’s wrong with the ute. The boys have been working day and night to fix it before the round starts. I had a good run last year, won the round, so that’s the main aim and I think I will have a good chance at making podium and some race wins,” explained Walton.David Sieders is another driver looking for his first podium for 2015, the three time championship runner-up made the move to a Holden this year and is hoping this is his round.“I haven’t had a race win since Darwin last year so I’m looking forward to getting there and ticking that off my list, we did quite well last year, I had a bad race start in Race 1, which set us on the back foot for rest of weekend but I’m looking forward to getting my first podium at Townsville, it would be nice,” said Sieders.Ryal Harris currently leads the ARMOR ALL Drivers Championship on 441 points ahead of Team mate George Miedecke on 387 and Adam Marjoram on 376. 2014 Townsville podium sitters Kris Walton and Rhys McNally are rounding out the top five, however Harris is subject to a stewards hearing resulting from an incident with Marjoram in Darwin.The V8 Utes will hit the track for Round 4 on Friday, 10th July.
