Lot 121 - 1986 Porsche 930 Turbo S - Original 930 Turbo S Engine type 66Estimate: £150,000 - £180,000Registration Number: Non- EU registeredChassis Number: WP0ZZZ93ZHS000062

The Porsche 930 Turbo was a genuine 'Supercar' that defined the Seventies and Eighties, and was one of the fastest production cars available at the time. It was first seen at the 1973 Paris Auto Show and full production commenced two years later. The basic engine underpinnings came from the Carrera 2.7RS which was increased to 3.0 Litres and, of course, turbo charged with technology gleaned from Porsche's 917/30 Can-Am programme.

The bodywork received special treatment to produce one of the most aggressive looking Porsches ever made with its wide arches and impressive rear whale-tail. The brakes came directly from the Porsche 917 race car. The final evolution of the 930 Turbo saw the engine capacity increased to 3299cc, with improved upgrades on the intercooler and introduction of the G50 transmission.

This 1986 930 received a 930/66 S engine as certified by Porsche when it was delivered new in September of that year. Only 32 other examples were ever produced with this engine type from Porsche's exclusive 'special wishes' programme. Other new order options included limited slip differential, sports seats and an electric sunroof.

From a collection, and presented today with just 86,000 km, in its original colour of P5 Grand Prix white and with its original black leather interior, it is in excellent overall condition. The car is offered with its original book pack, with a good service history and is mechanically excellent.

The 930 Turbo was in production for an incredible 14 years and is the epitome of supercar design. There were only ever 33 Turbo S cars to leave the factory. This car is therefore arguably the most collectable of the 21,589 cars built, which represents an exclusive and exhilarating ownership proposition.

and one of the rarest of all the Porsche tractorsLot 101 - 1958 Porsche Tractor Mono-cylinder JuniorEstimate: £7,000 - £10,000Registration Number: EU Taxes PaidChassis Number: 364

The Porsche tractor design included a hydraulic coupling between engine and transmission; this distinctive feature of Porsche-Diesel engines was used in tractors until the last model produced in 1963. Engineers in the 1930s believed that farmers in those days were not able to handle a clutch properly when shifting gears. Prof. Dr. F. Porsche produced three prototype tractors in 1934, all equipped with petrol engines. The Porsche diesel engine with its unique air-cooled feature was not quite ready for production.

After WWII, only companies in Germany who were producing farm tractors during and prior to the war were allowed to continue producing those tractors. Since Porsche was not one of these companies, it signed licensing agreements with the German company Allgaier GmbH and the Austrian company Hofherr Schrantz. These two companies used the Porsche engine design and called their tractor Allgaier System Porsche and Hofherr Schrantz System Porsche.

The tractor on offer today is one of the rarest of all the Porsche tractors; this single cylinder must also be one of the most beautifully restored examples. Purchased new from Porsche in 1958, the tractor has been passed down through the generations by a family of farmers who own vineyards in the High Novara province of Italy.

Restored and ready for its second owner from new, this tractor is an essential item to complete the perfect Porsche collection.
