Round 12: Pete Fear Sporting Trial, 11 October

Ian Veale won a dry, low scoring Pete Fear Sporting Trial on a tie-break from Dave Rance, dropping just eight marks over the thirty two sections.

George Watson finished third, on a tie-break with championship leader Roland Uglow. At the lunch break with nine contenders still on zero marks tyre pressures were increased from 5 to 10psi.

Roger Bricknell was the top live axle competitor in sixth place followed by intermediate class winner Steve Courts. lan Murton in his home built car won the novice class from fellow Cornishman Colin Flashman in the ex-Calvin Kneebone MSR.
