Paul Miller Racing Twelve Hours of Sebring qualifying review

Paul Miller Racing will start the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring from 15th on the GTD grid. Bryce Miller of Summit, N.J., qualified the No. 48 Castrol/UIS Lamborghini Huracán GT3 in 2 minutes 4.26 seconds on the 3.74-mile Sebring International Raceway road course in Sebring, Florida. He will share driving duty in the 12-hour race on Saturday with Bryan Sellers of Atlanta and Madison Snow of Lehi, Utah.

"Conditions are really difficult here; they're changing from session to session, so it's hard to judge for the car setup. Plus we have more weather coming with potential rain [forecast for race day]. But that's what makes Sebring – Sebring," Miller said.

"The qualifying result is not what I would have hoped for, but being that it's a 12-hour race, I don't think the qualifying result will end up mattering as much in the end, assuming we can keep the car free and clear of damage and keep it safe. We've got a good team, a good driver lineup and a solid effort, so I'm excited and looking forward to the race."

Paul Miller Racing is a leading GTD team in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship. The team placed second in the 2014 IMSA series GTD standings and third in 2015. The Sebring race is second in the 2016 championship, following the Rolex 24 At Daytona in January.
