Judging by the quality and quantity of this year's drivers and teams, 2016’s Blancpain GT Series campaign promises to be epic. So to give motorsport fans around the globe an opportunity to fully enjoy the world’s fastest and most spectacular GT championship, SRO Motorsports Group has again secured extensive worldwide television coverage.

The most important expansion in this year's TV deal will be a round-the-clock broadcast of the Total 24 Hours of Spa, the blue-riband event of the Blancpain GT Series. Fans won’t miss a single moment of the event, held at the iconic Spa-Francorchamps circuit in Belgium, thanks to start-to-finish coverage. Qualifying and Superpole sessions will also be live.

It is the same story for other Blancpain GT Series events. In Europe, Motors TV will cover every round of the Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup live, while Eurosport will do likewise (or have 'as live' broadcasts) of the Blancpain GT Series Sprint Cup. On top of that it will show highlights of the endurance races, which are also being covered by BT Sport in the UK. Bloomberg has highlights of sprint and endurance events, along with the several other national networks showing extensive highlight programmes. Meanwhile, RTL7 in the Netherlands adds live coverage of some sprint races to its portfolio. And of course Belgian broadcaster RTBF will have extensive live coverage of the Total 24 Hours of Spa.

On the Asian continent Fox Japan has been added to the already long list of broadcasters. It will show as live-coverage of the Blancpain GT Series Sprint Cup and highlights of the endurance races. Other Asian networks continuing to cover the Blancpain GT Series through highlight programmes are Eurosport Asia, Star Sports, Bloomberg, Fox Sports and Fox Sports 3 Asia.

On the American continent CBS Sports continues its combination of live coverage and highlights in the United States and Canada, with the endurance races streamed live on Motor Trend. South American race fans are again served by Fox Latin America, which is showing highlights of all races.

In the Middle East BeIn Sport will mix live coverage (sprint) with highlights (endurance), and Turkish network NTV features highlights, too. Bloomberg covers the African continent along with Fox Africa Sports 2.

Some global motorsport magazine programmes carry the Blancpain GT Series, such as Mobil 1 The Grid, Sports Unlimited, Pure Outdoor, Only Live Once and Action Sport World.

And, on top of this extensive television coverage, all qualifying sessions and races will continue to be streamed live on the series’ official website, www.blancpain-gt-series.com, with a new and improved live timing system as well and the GT World YouTube channel. Commentary in both French (Endurance) and English (Sprint and Endurance) will be available, with multiple Grand Prix-winner John Watson giving his expert insights on the Blancpain GT Series. Watson will be joined by either David Addison, Bruce Jones or Jack Nicholls. French commentary for the Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup races will be provided by motorsports expert Laurent Mercier joined by experienced journalist Thomas Bastin.
