MSA British Sporting Trials Championship

Round 5: Presidents Sporting Trial, Hampshire, 3 April

Julian Fack won the hotly contested Presidents Sporting Trial organised by Southsea Motor Club.

Following on from heavy rain overnight, Jerome Fack took the early lead at lunch by a couple of points from Stuart Beare. During the afternoon session Beare slid backwards into a tree damaging the car but managed to retain second and the intermediate class win.

As conditions dried Julian Fack took the win in the final round by just two points. Jerome slipped back to third, while Paul Price was just a point back, with Josh Veale top live axle in fifth. Mike Readings won the novice class from Pat Henson in a very creditable eighth overall. Neil Crommey won the clubman section.
