Rounds 11-12: Castle Combe, 29 August

Jack Layton took two big steps towards securing the championship when he won both rounds at a Castle Combe.

Starting from pole position in race one, he took the lead and pulled away from the opposition to win by nearly five seconds when the race was red-flagged.

In the second outing Layton was made to work harder. Gareth James took the lead at the start with Layton down in fourth place. On lap four he passed James at Quarry Bend to take the lead but then came under pressure from Andy Bird before the race was stopped due to an incident.
