Round 7: MEN Malton Forest Rally, 6 November

Sam Bilham sealed the MSA English Rally Championship title on a wet and windy day in the North Yorkshire forests.

The event was set to be the title decider with both Bilham and Robert Vardy vying for the crown.

At the end of a challenging event Vardy finished just 14 seconds and one place ahead, but that result was sufficient for Bilham to maintain his championship lead and take the 2016 drivers title. Vardy claimed the runners up spot.
