Hundreds of legendary race cars from around the world, including many wearing the famous Porsche Crest, will be brought to the beautiful Road Atlanta circuit in Braselton, Georgia, just a short drive from the North American headquarters of Porsche Cars North America in Atlanta.

"We couldn't think of a better fit for the 40th Classic Motorsports Mitty Presented by Hagerty than Porsche as the event's featured marque," said HSR President David Hinton. "It is safe to say that we have never run a Mitty or any HSR event in the last four decades that did not have Porsches participating. Porsche's presence is a major part of what we do at HSR and we want to thank Porsche Cars North America and Classic Motorsports for making this incredible collaboration happen."

One of the oldest historic and vintage races in the U.S., the Classic Motorsports Mitty has earned "must-attend" status over the last few decades for competitors and race fans alike. A highlight event on the annual HSR calendar, the Classic Motorsports Mitty features non-stop practice, qualifying, WeatherTech Sprint Races, B.R.M. Chronographes Enduros and the Bob Woodman Tires International/American Challenge all weekend on the legendary Road Atlanta road course.

Another on-track event not to miss will be the all-Porsche feature race that is open to competitors with Porsches or Porsche-powered race cars. This marque-exclusive race has become a long-standing highlight of the Classic Motorsports Mitty and traditionally kicks-off Sunday afternoon's schedule of feature races.

In addition to the on-track action, Speedfest at the Classic Motorsports Mitty will keep the off-track action and activity at full speed. The Speedfest schedule includes the Skid Pad Challenge, autograph sessions and driver meet-and-greets, live music, Michelin car club corrals, hospitality accommodations and the always wacky Concours d'LeMons, a Sunday morning tradition.

Truly an automotive festival, the Classic Motorsports Mitty also has free test drives available and vendors offer amazing finds and a variety of motorsports treasures and collectibles. The Classic Motorsports staff will also be on hand to provide a behind-the-scenes look at the legendary cars.
