Bicester Heritage Sunday Scramble


Bicester Heritage enjoyed the largest and most diverse Sunday Scramble ever on 23 April, as thousands of vintage motoring enthusiasts descended on the historic motoring community

A huge selection of vehicles from two to six wheels, Veteran and Vintage cars through to the latest super cars and battle hardened racing cars, not to mention a number of historic aircraft including Tiger Moths and a Bleriot
Over 4,500 members of the public touched down at Bicester Heritage to celebrate all things automotive with like-minded enthusiasts
Car clubs turned out in force, with 45 in attendance
Several thousand historic cars lined up across the 348-acre former RAF base in the heart of England, with plenty of action on the grass airfield, including two Tiger Moth vintage biplanes
Notable historic cars that arrived at the Sunday Scramble include an array of 4.5 litre vintage Bentleys, Ferrari F40, 200 Porsches, a display from Toyota UK, and superb back dated 911 in the hands of HR Owen Ecurie.The event gave attendees the opportunity to catch a glimpse of the next phase of restoration works at Bicester Heritage, which include a further ten buildings totalling 30,000 ft2 of workshop, office and engineering space

The specialist businesses of Bicester Heritage welcomed members of the public in to their showrooms and workshops, allowing one and all to see their latest stock, projects and developments
