First fleet of 70mph Sodi high-performance karts available in the UK
Famous for being at the forefront of hire-kart racing techology, Daytona Motorsport is delighted to announce the arrival of its all-new DMAX-GT fleet at its premier Midlands circuit, Daytona Tamworth. These exciting racers are the very first of their kind in the UK and are available to test drive from today, 26th July 2017 at Daytona's superb 1000 metre purpose-built circuit at Tamworth, Staffordshire.
Branded by Daytona Motorsport as DMAX-GT, these magnificent karts offer the highest level of performance due to the combination of Sodi's state-of-the-art chassis design coupled with Rotax's championship-proven EVO 125cc two-stroke engines. Easily capable of reaching speeds of 70mph, the DMAX-GT offers the more confident driver the opportunity to experience the pinnacle of professional hire-kart racing.
Renowned as leaders in the world of both leisure and competition kart racing, Daytona Motorsport launched its first fleet of 125cc two-stroke DMAXs way back in 2008 at its flaghship venue, Daytona Milton Keynes. Then in 2015, Daytona offered drivers the first chance to race the DMAXs with the latest Rotax EVO specification engines and now, in 2017, Daytona are the very first to launch a fleet of the new Sodi GTMAX karts in the UK – this time under the Daytona DMAX-GT brand.
