Prestone MSA British Rally Championship
Round 6: John Mulholland Ulster Rally, 18-19 August

Three-time BRC champion Keith Cronin and co-driver Mikie Galvin claimed victory on round six, the John Mulholland Ulster Rally.

The Irish pairing took their second win of the season in their M-Sport–prepared Ford Fiesta R5 to set-up an exciting title fight ahead of the season curtain call on the Isle of Man.

Fredrik Ahlin and Torstein Eriksen finished second, maintaining their championship lead ahead of the end of the final round next month. Local crew Marty McCormack and navigator David Moynihan finished third.

Link Up Ltd MSA British Autotest Championship Round 9: Juniper Autotest, 20 August

Richard Pinkney beat 21 other competitors to win the Juniper Autotest at Rockingham Raceway.

Pinkney took an immediate lead after three tests, with Dave Fox and Dave Mosey just three seconds behind.

The lunchtime scoreboard showed Pinkney with a six-second lead over Mosey, with Chris Chapman a further three seconds behind.

Mosey put the hammer down over the last six tests and finished tied on identical times with Pinkney, but a five second penalty earlier in the day meant that he lost the tie break.

MSA British Superkart Championship Rounds 7-8: Snetterton, 19 August

Dan Clark leads the British Superkart Championship after winning both rounds at Snetterton.

Clark took the lead from Gavin Bennett in the first race, starting a four-kart scrap for the lead. Reigning champion Jack Layton fought to the front on lap seven but couldn’t hold off Clark. Ross Allen completed the podium.

Clark took a lights-to-flag victory in race two, ahead of Bennett and Gareth James. Allen dropped out on lap three and Layton suffered fuel starvation on lap nine.
