World Rallycross makes its debut in South Africa for season finale
Whilst both the drivers’ and teams’ titles are sown up in the FIA World Rallycross Championship, the series makes its African bow this weekend, and it’s LIVE on Motorsport.tv!
The newly re-developed Killarney Circuit is the location for the first visit of an FIA World Championship to South Africa since 1992 for the last Kylami Formula One Grand Prix. Though Johan Kristofferson and the PSRX Volkswagen Sweden team wrapped up their titles two rounds ago in Latvia, the battle for bragging rights to be the first WRX winner in South Africa is sure to be fierce.
Supercars head to New Zealand for penultimate round
Staying in the Southern Hemisphere, the Australian Supercars crossed the Tasman Sea to New Zealand for the penultimate round of the championship. Jamie Whincup was hoping to fend off of Fabien Coulthard and Scott McLaughlin at Pukekhoe, but would the six-time series champion remain ahead before the Newcastle Finale? WEC and Asian Le Mans Series highlights from Chinese races
Porsche headed to the Shanghai round of the FIA World Endurance Championship looking to close out both drivers’ and manufacturers’ titles in China. After victory last time out however, a resurgent Toyota was out to spoil the German manufacturers party, and with titles to be settled in the other three classes, battles were set to be intense as ever.
As the WEC season nears its end, the 2017-2018 Asian Le Mans Series got underway with a four-hour race at Zhuhai. Open to LMP2, LMP3 and GT3 machinery, the Pan-Asian championship sees teams do battle for an entry to the 2018 Le Mans 24 Hours.
