Pirelli MSA Welsh Rally Championship
Round 8: Winner Garage Skoda Wyedean Stages Rally, 11 November

Callum Black and co-driver Elliott Edmondson claimed the top step of the podium on the Wyedean Rally, not only as the event winners but also as the new Pirelli MSA Welsh Rally Champions.

Black reported several spins on the third test in the morning stages but returned to the service halt with a marginal lead over his nearest competitors. Peter Stephenson was enjoying a good run, while Andy Davies was defending his championship lead by keeping it neat and tidy and avoiding mistakes.

Conditions improved during the afternoons run – a repeat of the morning’s four tests. Black had a clean run and extended his lead to just over a minute by the finish to claim maximum points and the title. Davies took the Group N title and runner-up in the championship.

MSA British Sporting Trial Championship
Round 13: Roy Fedden Sporting Trial, 12 November

Roland Uglow won the Roy Fedden sporting trial trophy, one of the oldest in the sport, for the third successive year.

John Fack finished second just three points ahead of Peter Fensom. Peter McKinney managed fourth ahead of Julian Fack and Simon Kingsley who made a costly error in the last round of nine hills.

Arthur Carroll surprised many to finish best live axle in eighth behind his mentor Ian Wright and win the blue live axle class.
