Rounds 7 and 8 of the Cromer Grand Prix

Quick update we had rounds 7 & 8 at Cromer in Norfolk this weekend, this should have been a bad meeting for us as on flat water we were never very quick but having being out testing and working out set-up for propeller position, we started heat one Saturday with a second place finish, after this it was 4 rounds all with first place finishes P1 in the final lead the race into the fist buoy, holding off the pack for a further two laps and then pulled away only to have a moment on the first part of the ‘M’ course and scrubbing of speed led to the P2 boat slipping up our inside ! P2 in first final.

Sunday Round 8 5 heats, fist 4 heats finished in first place last heat had a bad start but got up into 2nd position and finished P2 Final for round 8 starting in P1 it was a close run up to buoy 1 and holding of boat in P2 to our out side we made our pit lap on the first lap and forced P2 to do the same giving them no advantage we then pulled out 4 boat lengths to finish in P1.
