The GTR has had one previous owner, The car was commissioned and built in the USA by the first owner in 1984/1985 as an IMSA spec evolution of the 1980 Le Mans factory race cars.
Believed only raced once or twice in North America before being "retired" into a collection. In Concourse condition with a large amount of spare parts.

Since restoration the car has been part of a private collection and only used on several track days (Donington and Silverstone).
