for the 4th round of the GP2 Asia Series at Al Sakhir.

The fourth and penultimate round of the 2008 GP2 Asia Series will be starting this weekend at Al Sakhir, Bahrain, running together with the Formula One Bahrain Grand Prix. The programmed schedule will start tomorrow with the first practice session, followed as usual by qualifying. Both drivers of Trident Racing, Harald Schlegelmilch and Ho Pin Tung, came to Al Sakhir very focused, eyeing a possible rebound after the great display of potential seen at Sepang. On-track action will start with the first 30-minute session taking green flag tomorrow at 11:55, while Qualifying will follow at 16:00, local time. On Saturday, the first race of the weekend (34 laps) will be contested at 15:50, while the second, 24-lap long one, is set to start on Sunday at 11:00. Both races will be broadcasted live by satellite channel Eurosport 2. (Times are GMT+3)Alessandro Alunni Bravi, Managing Director“We`re approaching one of the classic weekends in the 2008 GP2 Asia Series, that is also the opening of a surely intense final rush for the first title. For all the teams, the double trip to Bahrain and Dubai represents a chance to end the Championship on an high note, and show the potential of their cars for the long 2008 silly season. Last year, Trident Racing brought a rookie like Kohei Hirate all the way up to row three at Al Sakhir, and that gives us all the necessary optimism we need to look forward to this year`s edition. Ho Pin Tung proved us to have the right potential to fight for a podium finish at Sepang, even though a couple of incidents prevented him from scoring a well-deserved result. I believe Ho Pin shown a steady progress in climbing the series` ranks, and has what it takes to end the Asian Series in the best possible way. He and the team will have to be consistent, in order to avoid wasting a great occasion to shine. Harald Schlegelmilch looks very motivated, and I think he`ll be one of the main surprises of this week`s event in Bahrain, as he`s still trying to finalize his impressive speed skills".
