Harald Schlegelmilch and Ho Pin Tung will take off respectively from the 16th and 20th spot on today`s GP2 Asia Race 1 grid at Al Sakhir, Bahrain.

The fourth seasonal round of the Series didn`t start in the best possible way for Trident Racing during Practice and Qualifying. Both Tung and Schlegelmilch didn`t meet the early expectations and will have to focus on a difficult recovery process in the first, 34-lap long race.

The race`s length, together with pit-stops as an additional variable, won`t preclude chances to get back to a points finish, though anything will be more difficult. Tung paid the price of the high traffic appeared when all the drivers decided to enter the racetrack with their second set of fresh tires, while Schlegelmilch committed a mistake in the second split that prevented him from clocking a sure top-10 lap.

The first race of the weekend will start at 15:50, while 24-lap long Race 2 is scheduled for Sunday, at 11:00, local time (GMT/UTC+3). The two heats will be televised live by satellite channel Eurosport 2.
