Penrite the official lubricant supplier to the Yokohama V8 Ute Racing Series are pleased to host the first of many nationwide V8 Ute Family Fun Days. The Autobarn store in Elizabeth, Adelaide will be the inaugural location on April 26, during the Anzac Day long weekend, with visits to other Penrite stockists in Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney and the Gold Coast also planned throughout the year.

“Penrite are proud to have been associated with the V8 Utes over the past few years, being good from  both a product testing and image stand point” explained Adam Campbell from Penrite Oil.

“The V8 Utes offer excitement on track for the whole family but there is currently limited chances for those fans to get up close and personal to the Utes. The Penrite Family Fun Days are aimed to extend the memorable and unique V8 Ute experience for fans and the general public alike off track and throughout 2008.”

There will be a Show and Shine competition with Penrite prize packs and V8 Ute Hot Laps up for grabs with V8 Ute drivers Charlie Kovacs and Craig Dontas judging the contest.  Entry is unlimited and anyone with a Ute in the area is welcome to participate.

V8 Ute promotional models will be joining Craig Dontas the Ford BF Falcon XR8 steerer and Charlie Kovacs in the Holden SS Commodore who will be attending on the day for signing sessions and photo opportunities alongside their V8 Racing Utes.

Roaring Lion, sponsor of the Craig Dontas Ford, will also be present on the day with a bar, product sampling and promotional models on hand.

Various Ute clubs from around the area will be attending with give aways, signing sessions, photo opportunities and a sausage sizzle on offer during the day, it’s something you won’t want to miss.
