Elise Trophy latest

supporting A1GP at Brands Hatch this weekend

For round 3 of the 2008 Elise Trophy we’re returning to Brands Hatch to support A1GP on the GP circuit from 2-4 May. A full grid of 44 cars (plus up to 8 reserves who will qualify) will be the largest ever grid of Lotus cars. The field will include up to five 2-Elevens, Lotus’ latest track-focused offering.

With other support races including Formula Palmer Audi, Britcar, Porsche Open, Heritage Grand Touring Cars, Formula Ford and Sports 2000 it should be a cracking weekend's racing on the historic GP circuit.

The front running Elise Trophy class C drivers, Chris Randall and Andrew Walsh, will be racing in class B cars for this round, which means up to 9 drivers could be competing for the outright win.

Once again in 2008 the Elise Trophy will be televised on Motors TV; the first showing of the Brands Hatch races in March is on Friday 9th May.
