Trident Formula Master testing

Valencia, Day 2  Report

Trident Racing ended up on top in the final preseason testing session at Valencia, thanks to a great laptime clocked by Kasper Andersen. The Danish driver, who stood in the top-5 in the AM session, managed to lower his marks in the afternoon, opening a huge gap over the other drivers on-track and topping the charts at the end of the day. The first place taken by Andersen wasn`t the only highlight of the day for Trident Racing, as both Harald Schlegelmilch and Alejandro Nunez completed all the planned work with good performances.Kasper Adersen #32 (1`27”777)Alejandro Núñez #33 (1`28”586)Harald Schlegelmilch #31 (1`28”074)Kasper Andersen“I`m really satisfied with what we accomplished in this two days of testing, and it`s quite natural since I had my name at the top of the charts. I had some troubles in the AM Session, when the racetrack was in even better conditions, but the team worked hard to find the best set-up solutions and the track proved us right in the afternoon. I hope to start from the 8th position on Race 2. That would of course mean that I won on Saturday! I have a really good feeling with the team, and I`m looking forward to race at Valencia, that is among my favourite racetracks”;Alessandro Alunni Bravi, Managing Director“Our tests at Valencia ended up with an extremely positive performance by Kasper Andersen, who stayed constantly at the top since early morning. In the PM session we put new tires on with 20 minutes to go, and Kasper managed to crack the 1m28-barrier three times, opening a huge gap with his main rivals. I think we proved we can take our Formula Master operation to the highest level since the beginning, and that`s a great accomplishment so far for a debuting team. Harald and Alejandro continued to set up the car in order to make the car more suitable to their driving style. We also completed a good job in setting up the car for the wet weather, as we might find rainy conditions as well during the season".
