THE INTERNATIONAL GT OPEN AND THE SPANISH F3 FIAT CHAMPIONSHIP TO INAUGURATE VALENCIA STREET CIRCUIT
The races that will inaugurate the Valencia Street Circuit next 26-27 July were officially presented at an event presided by the Vice-President of the Comunitat Valenciana, Vicente Rambla, the head of the Sports department at the Town of Valencia, Cristóbal Grau, the CEO of GT Sport, Jesús Pareja the representatives of Valmor Sports, Fernando Roig and Jorge Martínez Aspar.
The International GT Open and the Spanish F3 Fiat Championship will serve as a test to check the circuit, its accesses and all the equipments of the venue ahead of the Formula 1 European Grand Prix on next 24 August.
The CEO of GT Sport, Jesús Pareja, commented: “For GT Sport, it is a great satisfaction to be the organizer whose races have been chosen to inaugurate what will be the most emblematic Formula 1 circuit and a reference in global motorsports. I have never seen before such a huge expectation before a race”.
The event will be broadcasted to more than 60 countries and through the major national and international TV channels, among which Canal +, Canal 9, TDT Popular TV and TVG in Spain, and Fox Sport Channel, Eurosport, Sport TV(Portugal), Nuvolari (Italy) and many other stations in France, Austria, Belgium, Australia and elsewhere, at international level.
