The iSport driver and co-leader of the 2008 Championship was the quickest yesterday afternoon in a 1:10.054.
The sunny afternoon session concluded an incident-free two-day test for the thirteen GP2 teams in Paul Ricard.
At the wheel of his iSport car Bruno Senna set the pace just ahead of ART Grand Prix’s Luca Filippi. The Italian driver remains the quickest of the day with his morning laptime in a 1:09.934.
These two men are followed by Racing Engineering’s Giorgio Pantano, Filippi’s teammate Romain Grosjean and Piquet Sports’ Andreas Zuber. Christian Bakkerud again did not participate in this session as he preferred to rest before the upcoming race event.
The GP2 circus will now head to Magny-Cours where the fourth round of the 2008 championship will take place next week. Bruno Senna and Giorgio Pantano are co-leading with 24 points, ahead of Romain Grosjean and Alvaro Parente both with 19 points.
