Euroseries 3000 championship

Adam KHAN fastest in practice, Nicolas PROST behind

The long Euroseries 3000 championship weekend on the Valencian circuit Ricardo Tormo goes on under a hot sun: after the open test Thursday, the schedale comprehends two 30' free practice sessions preparing for the qualifying and the two races (which will take place on Saturday and Sunday morning).

The 23-years-old Pakistan of the TP Formula team, Adam KHAN, was the fastest in 1’24’’544. Only Vallelunga's poleman, Nicolas PROST, the French of the Cerveza Sol ELK Motorsport Team, after obtaining yesterday the best time, manages to stay close bringing his Lola B02/50 Zytek at the second place with just a two-tenths gap (1’24’’758). Behind them again the Durango driver, Omar Leal, who manages to set a good 1’25’’017 ahead of the 17-years-old Philipe Guimaraes with the second TP Formula and the Brazilian Luiz Razia (Cerveza Sol ELK Motorsport).

After the Race-2 win on the Italian track, the Spanish GP2 Main Series driver, Roldan Rodriguez, comes back at the wheel of the Lola of the champion team GP Racing. He strongly wanted to take part to his home race in the championship which opened for him the doors of the stepstone series to F1.

Once again the standings show the technical level reached by Euroseries 3000: 7 drivers in less than 1 second. This will give us very fought races until the last lap, which will be broadcast live by Nuvolari TV (SKY 218).
