at SnettertonSarah Franklin will step up to the Porsche Carrera Cup GB for rounds eleven and twelve of the season at Snetterton over the weekend of 12/13 July when she races the PCGB entry in the pro-am2 category at Thruxton.The Ginetta racer will be the second female racer on the Snetterton grid following recent confirmation that single-seater ace Pippa Mann will make her Carrera Cup debut at the same event.As well as being a lawyer based in Melton Mowbray, Franklin serves on the committee of the British Women Racing Drivers' Club and signs and plays in a band in her spare time.Currently, Sarah is competing in a Ginetta in her fourth season of racing and is keen to move up to a more powerful sports GT car. "It will be fantastic to race the Porsche," said Franklin. I'm looking to step up for 2009 and Snetterton is probably my best circuit."
