Two Jaguars entered for Oschersleben

The next round of the FIA GT3 European Championships at Oschersleben on 5th and 6th July, will see two Jaguar XKRs entered for the race. Confirmed drivers are 24 year old Ben Clucas, who will be building on his recent experience with the Jaguars in GT3. Clucas has combined single seater racing with GTs over the last 2 years, achieving success in Caterhams, Formula 3 and Porsches.

Partnered with Clucas during the two one-hour races will be American semi-pro driver Robert Hissom, who joined the FIA Championship in 2007 in the Kreyern Racing Stealth GT4 car.

The second Apex V8 supercharged XKR will be driven by Phil Quaife and Stuart Hall, the driver team that achieved 5th place for Jaguar and Apex Motorsport at Silverstone in April. Stuart Hall is currently part of the BRDC sponsored young driver scheme, and has already achieved considerable success in the British Formula 3 Championship.
