N.Technology will travel to the Circuito do Estoril, Portugal, for rounds 11 and 12 of the FIA World Touring Car Championship (WTCC) on 12 and 13 July 2008, the first meeting for the WTCC at the Portuguese track.
After achieving another points-scoring finish in Brno, driver James Thompson took the Honda Accord Euro R Super 2000 to the front of the field, which featured all manufacturers, at the official WTCC testing session at Monza last week, lapping the track in 2:00.918.
At the half-way point in the season, the N.Technology team is showing its usual determination and fighting, spirit and is determined to get to the higher end of the grid. Thompson claimed his first win in the Danish Touring Car Championship last Sunday and is hoping to improve his WTCC performance in Estoril.
"We're definitely moving forward and making progress," said Thompson. "The standard is exceptionally high; we have a way to go to be right at the top of the field but we are much closer to challenging for a podium position. The team is working hard to improve our package."
