THE ASTON MARTIN ASIA CUP REVS UP FOR SEPANG

The Aston Martin Asia Cup (AMAC) returns to Sepang this weekend for its fifth and sixth rounds. On 13th July AMAC will race on the North circuit as part of the Malaysian Super Series weekend, having raced on the Sepang International Circuit last month when Team Reckless driver Kota Sasaki (Japan) took a double victory.

The North Circuit, which is 2.7km long with 9 turns, is set to provide close racing between the identical Aston Martin Vantage N24s. Sri Lankan Dilantha Malagamuwa, a double MSS Champion, currently leads the Aston Martin Asia Cup Championship by just 3 points from Kota Sasaki. However, there is keen competition throughout the field of the world’s only one make Aston Martin series. With drivers from Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Australia, the UK and Singapore, the series proudly counts Michelin, Auto Media China, Graham, Dura, Racing Logistics International and Powerbuilt amongst its partners.
