inexplicable engine problems  

N.Technology has suffered two inexplicable engine problems on the Honda Accord Euro R Super 2000, due to run in the FIA World Touring Car Championship (WTCC) this weekend at the Circuito do Estoril, Portugal.  

A technical problem in the first free practice session necessitated an engine change Friday morning. A second problem occurred just before the start of yesterday's qualifying session, which meant the team could not take part.  

Another engine change is scheduled to ready the car for the first race today; driver James Thompson will start the race from the last place on the grid.

Eurosport's WTCC coverage of Race One will be shown live on Sunday 13 July from 14:00 (CET) on Eurosport International and Asia Pacific with Race Two starting at 17:30 (CET), also on Eurosport International and Asia Pacific.
