Marco Didaio And Francesco Sini to test in Lola Mazda LMP-2 Sports Prototype.
Monday the 4th of August will be a good day for Italian Autosport and in particular for two young Italian drivers as they will have the opportunity to test in one of motorsports most appraised series.
Didaio (Vercelli) and Francesco Sini (Pescara) will go to the German Lausitzring to test a Lola Sport Prototype with a Mazda Turbocharged engine.
The test will be done with the German based team Kruse Schiller Motorsport and their principal pilots Hideki Noda (Japan) and Jean de Pourtales (France)
Marco Didaio has raced before in the LMP 2 class of the Le Mans Series, he was racing a Sport Prototype that lacked development and is excited to retry the class with a car that has already proven to be competitive in its category.
Francesco Sini is currently racing in the Radical masters with Italian based team Solaris Motorsport with whom he has achieved good results and is currently leading the championship. Francesco is happy to have the opportunity to test such a competitive LMP 2 car and hopes to be able to make the step to the Le Mans Series in 2009
