N.Tech - WTCC: Next stop Oschersleben

Following a five-week break from the FIA World Touring Car Championship (WTCC), the N.Technology team now heads to Oschersleben, Germany, for rounds 15 and 16 of the championship.

Previous years at the German track have seen N.Technology finish on the podium regularly; driver James Thompson claimed a third and fourth place finish for the team in 2007, despite Oschersleben being generally known as a BMW circuit.

As this year's car, the Honda Accord Euro R Super 2000, progresses steadily, the proven partnership of N.Technology and James Thompson is as strong as ever.

"I truly believe I am working for the best team in the WTCC paddock," said Thompson who finished third in last year's Drivers' standings with N.Technology. "The dedication shown by each team member, regardless of what their job description is, is phenomenal.

"We had a remarkable season last year and, although our performance isn't at the level we would like to be at currently, the team is as capable of producing a race-winning car as they were in 2007. I hope Oschersleben brings us closer to that goal with some solid racing."

Having scored two top-eight finishes to date this season, the team hopes to score further points at the Motorsport Arena Oschersleben.

Eurosport's WTCC coverage begins Saturday 30 August with qualifying shown on Eurosport 2 at 19:00 (CET). Race One will be shown live on Sunday 31 August from 11:45 (CET) on Eurosport 2 and Asia Pacific with Race Two starting at 15:00 (CET), on Eurosport International and Asia Pacific.
