gets new sponsor  

The MSA British Hillclimb Championship will have a new sponsor for 2009 andbeyond.

The owner of the current sponsors, Mike Endean, announced at Gurston Down that another of his businesses, MCL Motorhomes, will take over the series sponsorship from 2009 with an agreement to cover three seasons. 

"My Nicholson McLaren Engines business has sponsored the Championship for four seasons and has benefited enormously from the exposure. But now its time for a change and MCL Motorhomes, which I acquired a couple of years ago, will take over the sponsorship from the beginning of next season.

"Our partnership with the Championship Co-Ordinator Tony Fletcher has been good for all of us. Tony has decided that he will take his well earned retirement in three years time and I am pleased to announce that MCL Motorhomes will be the Championship sponsor until the end of Tony's very successful tenure".

MCL Motorhomes is based in North Wales on the Snowdonia Business Park, Minffordd, Penrhyndeudraeth and this tongue twisting place name will surely cause consternation amongst all Hillclimb commentators!
