This coming weekend, Kieren Clark, the 19-year-old dynamic racing driver from Cambridge, will be competing at the final race weekend at Brands Hatch of the popular Formula Renault UK series.

Formula Renault UK is a support race to the spectacular British Touring Car Championship weekend, and huge crowds are expected to be there, plus with live TV coverage on ITV4.

“I’m determined to put in a good finish to the season, and I’ve got my sights set on improving on my qualifying for this weekend.  Its been a long season since we started at Brands in March, and I’m looking to put the areas I’ve been working on into practice. Lots of people are coming along to see me, that’s always a buzz to have some support and chat to people around the car.”

Qualifying will take place on Saturday 20th at 9.25 and 14.40, with rounds 19 and 20 to then follow on Sunday 21st at 10.05 and the very last race of this years BTCC calendar at 17.15.

The second race is to be shown live on ITV4 as part of the channel’s afternoon broadcast from the BTCC.

This weekend will see many of the race championships go down to the wire, not least the thrilling BTCC SEAT / Vauxhall clash. Support races include, Renault Clio’s, Porsche Carrera’s, Ginetta Junior’s and SEAT Cupra championships.

Other activities will include the Battle of Britain Memorial fly past, parachute displays and many other events alongside the racing action.
