More live TV for Carrera Cup GBThe deciding race in the 2008 Porsche Carrera Cup GB at Brands Hatch will be screened live on ITV4 this Sunday (21 September 2008). Subject to the outcome of Saturday's penultimate race, the season-long battle for the title will be resolved on live TV on Sunday as Tim Harvey and Michael Caine go head-to-head for the title.The race will be broadcast in the extensive ITV4 programme that features live coverage of the HiQ MSA British Touring Car Championship. Providing that the BTCC action and the race day timetable runs to plan, round 20 of the Carrera Cup GB will go out live to an audience of up to half a million viewers, with the race due to start at 1.35pm. The specially extended BTCC programme on ITV4 runs from 11.30am to 5.30pm and will give unrivalled coverage of the day's action.Meanwhile, television coverage for the Porsche Carrera Cup GB continues next week with another highlights programmes in the Motorsport UK series. The dedicated Carrera Cup coverage will feature action from the Oulton Park races and the half-hour programme will be broadcast as follows:Wednesday 24 September at 1.30pm on ITV4Friday 26 September at 1.10am on ITV1Saturday 27 September on ITV4 (exact time to be confirmed)Viewing figures from Motorsport UK, the series that covers all the BTCC support races, show a total programme audience of 550,000. In addition, Motorsport UK is also screened on the Men and Motors channel on Friday evening.
