MSA British Hillclimb Championship

Nicholson McLaren Aviation MSA British Hillclimb Championship Rounds 33 & 34, Doune Hillclimb, September 27th & 28th

After several years of wet Doune MSA Championship events the rain finally stayed away as 2001 & 2002 Hillclimb Champion Graeme Wight Junior at last gave his self-built Predator its maiden run -off victory. The car's well known gearbox fragilty returned in the final run-off but Wight still took second behind Martin Groves (pictured) as both drivers made their 2009 intentions clear.

Trevor Willis confirmed his MSA Championship third place for 2008 with two thirds and 23 year old Scottish driver Stewart Robb Junior, recently crowned 2008 MSA Sprint Champion, took two fourth places.
