POOLE have won their third Elite League title in six seasons after a 60-33hammering of Lakeside - that's 108-75 on aggregate.Skipper Bjarne Pedersen was in stunning form with an unbeaten 14+1 haul infront of a massive Wimborne Road crowd.Said Pedersen: "We were favourites but we had to work hard. I'm so happy,this means a lot to me and everyone at the club."

LAKESIDE owner Stuart Douglas was one of the first to congratulatenewly-crowned Elite League champions Poole after his side were beaten in theGrand Final.He said: "Fair play to Poole, they are worthy champions and on behalf ofeveryone at Lakeside I offer our congratulations."Our injuries came at the wrong time, that was a major factor, but we'll beback next year ready to try and go one better."
