N.Technology's James Thompson set the seventh fastest time during yesterday's testing session at the Okayama International Circuit, Japan.

Thompson set a fastest time of 1:39.083 in the Honda Accord Euro R Super 2000 during the 30-minute testing session. Japanese team-mate Yukinori Taniguchi set a fastest lap of 1:41.039, placing him 20th in the rankings.

Team Manager Andrea Muller was pleased with the team's performance: "Both drivers did well on-track today; James drove well and finished seven-tenths from the fastest lap time. It is the first time at the track for him, so he has performed well. Yuke is continuing to improve. He knows the track very well but has not driven this car there, so it is a first for him too. To finish as the third Japanese driver is a good result for him."
